Description

Deer Island Manor was built in 1908 as an elementary school for the logging community of Deer Island, Oregon.  It is now the private home of Diane and Jason Dunn.  The Great Hall at Deer Island Manor is a great space for the creation of art, poetry, music and all things art!  We strive to encourage our community to explore, create and engage in the arts at Deer Island Manor. In the last two years we have established organic herb, vegetable and flower gardens. We have also created the Deer Island Lavender Farm.  In 2015, a Peace Pole was donated and "planted" at Deer Island Manor. We look forward to spending time in the gardens and creating a connection with our community through playful expressions of art!

Monthly Open Studio

On the first Saturday of each month from Noon - 4pm Deer Island Manor will host a free Open Studio.  A variety of art supplies will be available at no cost and everyone is welcome to come and explore, experiment and create!
