Arts Sandbox - Art Hive

Our Arts Sandbox program invites you to play with the arts, using arts for wellness, including groups offered to underserved populations and an Art Hive offering free art activities at our location and around the Peninsula. This programming is offered through the support of grant funding and donations of both money and art supplies from our community.

This is a free, low-barrier space that welcomes all to make and share in the creative atmosphere. It's a welcoming place to talk, make art and build communities. It is about inclusion, respect, and creative responses to things that matter. Art-making is a human behaviour. An Art Hive encourages self-directed experiences of creativity, learning and skill sharing.

The Art Hive is currently offered in studio the last Sunday of the month from 1pm-5pm, times may change around holidays (check the website for more information).  We also offer pop-up art hives at local events.
