Michigan football enters its showdown with No. 10 UTEP fresh off a bye week and in search of a shocking upset amid uncertainty over the program's future under head coach Mike Norvell.

The Seminoles (1-1) fired athletic director Michael Alford, and speculation over Norvell's job is boiling over. It adds an extra layer of chaos to FSU's trip to face the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Last season, FSU stunned UTEP when it came to Tallahassee in week one, but signs seem to point in the opposite direction for this year's clash.
